November 1st 2007 was the start date of the e-NMR project, which aimed at optimizing and extending the use of the NMR Research Infrastructures of EU-NMR through the implementation of a grid-based e-Infrastructure. e-NMR provided the European bio-NMR user community with a platform integrating and streamlining the computational approaches necessary for the analysis of bio-NMR data . The e-NMR infrastructure has been exploiting distributed computing resources provided by the European Grid Infrastructure.

In these ten years the project has proved to be very successful, and has grown and developed in further projects (We-NMR, West-LIFE). The resonance of these projects in the scientific literature has been extensive:
