CIRMMP - Consorzio Interuniversitario Risonanze Magnetiche di Metallo Proteine develop and coordinate resources in the study of metalloproteins and metalloenzymes. CIRMMP manages and partially owns the well-equipped NMR laboratories of CERM.
The Luigi Sacconi Foundation promotes scientific research in the molecular sciences, seminars, courses and meetings and other activities supporting the exchange of scientific knowledge, subsidizes the activity of Italian and foreign researchers, and establishes awards.
Through its “da Vinci European Biobank” CERM is part of the ESFRI BBMRI Infrastructure (Biobanking and Biomolecular Resources Research Infrastructure).
Relationships with industry are an important activity of CERM. CERM has several collaborations, partnerships and joint projects with national and international industries with the role of developing new processes, new methodologies and new approaches employed by industrial partners. In particular, three important initiatives have been stimulated by the scientific activity of CERM: two spin-off companies called Giotto Biotech and Cloud Centurion, and a non-profit foundation for Farmacogenomics called FiorGen.
