cyanagarant Sparky extension

The script 'cyanagarant' has been developed to allow sparky users to import peak- and prot-lists from programs using xeasy format (e.g. Cyana, Garant). After downloading the file(s), copy it/them to '$SPARKY_INSTALL/python/sparky' directory and rename it(s) ending the name with .py (cyanagarant -> cyanagarant.py). If you downloaded only 'cyanagarant' modify your 'sparky_site.py' file to be able to call the script from sparky-Extensions menu. If you downloaded also 'sparky_site', rename it in sparky_site.py and move it to your '$SPARKY_INSTALL/python/sparky' directory. Then start sparky.

The use of the script is simple, call the script from the Sparky-menu Extensions->Peak->CyanaGarant2Sparky or by typing 'cg' command. A window will pop-up and you just choose dimensionality of your peak-list and order of axis. This option is to make possibility of rolling peak-list in cases where spectrum was processed with particular axis order (e.g., as possible with pipe2ucsf.

Then fill-in names of peak-, prot-list, sequence and finaly, name for output in sparky format. This file can be afterwads read to spectra by using 'rp' command (Extensions->Peak->Read peak list).
